Staying with a routine was harder than I thought. I was starting to get bored and wanted to move on to a different exercise routine. It had only been a week and I wanted to see drastic results. But everything takes time, right?
So here I am, Week 2 of the Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred Challenge.
Day 8:
We were away and I was still exhausted from our 6 hour drive yesterday. I just focused on resting and being creative – writing.
I hope I get to go back to the groove of working out first thing in the morning.
Day 9: Push harder
So today, after a two day hiatus, I was up and ready to push-it harder. I did Level 3, and was still gasping for air at the end of the 30 minute work-out.
I also figured out a way to bypass the sales pitch! Before powering off the DVD, I go back to the main menu. So far it has been working!
Day 10:
Wow! I didn’t realize today’s Day 10! Woo-hoo!
I did Level 3 again. I still couldn’t do a full push-up. After a few reps, I had to do the rest of the push-ups with bent knees.
I still can’t fit on my clothes, and I still have not lost weight. So this time, I have to really watch what I eat.
Day 11:
Not a pound lost yet - but it seemed like I'm losing a few centimeters!
I did Level 3 again - pushing harder this time!
Day 12:
Level 2 and ran 6 miles!
Day 13:
Rest day.
