1 Be THANKFUL
Wake up and think of the 3 things you're thankful for.
We all know that being healthy is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise,
but did you know that saying thanks can improve our health?
According to Sheela Rajam PhD, an assistant professor and clinical psychologist in
the Colleges of Medicine and Dentistry at University of Illinois,
"Research suggests that individuals who are grateful in their daily lives
actually report fewer stress-related health symptoms and appetite problems."
2 Imagine what you want your day to be like. Write it down.
Start your day in a good mood.
Personal hygiene is essential.
Pick your preference, hot or cold, there are a lot of benefits of taking a shower.
Make your bed.
Feel beautiful.
Look in the mirror and smile.
3. Music - You can make someone smile, including yourself by listening to music.
Singing along to an upbeat music helps "shake-off" some negative thoughts.
I listen to Taylor Swift's 1989 CD. It really makes me smile and make me feel young every single time!
4. Enhance your life by :
Believe in yourself.
Make someone feel special - helping other people helps us focus on own blessings.
Take a walk with someone you love.
Make time to turn-off work, and plan a vacation.
