Once you have it, you will be hooked!
Last night, I served Pierce’s spicy chicken wings and the wings exceeded everyone’s expectations!
I ordered them a few days ago: $35 for a tray of 50 chicken wings. I know they are beyond yummy since I had a few wings at a summer party. So when I found out I can order and have them delivered – it’s like Santa’s elves and Cinderella's little helpers are truly helping me get a few chores done, without a hitch!
Before serving them for dinner, I did the following:
- Preheat the oven to 300 (convection)
- Line the baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Put the chicken wings – single layer
- Heat for 8-10 minutes.
The aroma of the spices lingered around the house. Before I could even finish removing the chicken wings off the tray, Dad and honey were already in the kitchen waiting to have a taste.
What they didn’t realize is that: there’s no such thing as just having a taste! As soon as you have had a taste, you gotta have another wing…and another, and another! And before you know it; your plate has 10 chicken bones!
Honey does not like finger foods. He had always eaten BBQ ribs and chicken with fork and knife, so to my surprise, Honey was eating with his fingers! The chicken wings are best enjoyed sans the silverware!
Honey asked, “So where did you get these chicken wings?”
I asked, “Why? Do you like them?”
Honey replied, “In the scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best. I rate it a 12!”
You can tell the wings are made with love! They’re fresh, juicy, meaty and just scrumptious!
(Pierce’s chicken wings are spicy. It comes with an extra cup of sauce – only if you want an additional kick. For those who want to tone down the spiciness, you can dip the wings in a ranch or blue cheese dressing. A great combo with the wings is an ice cold beverage).
‘tis the season to be jolly and for moms to be superbly exhausted! So any little help, make this week a little less tiring.
Today is a special day. It’s Honey’s birthday. It’s not just any birthday, as he commented. Today is a numerical phenomenon that will only happen once in his lifetime!
Being born in 1966, today, the 22nd of the month, my husband is 44!
And what are the odds that 44 plus 22 = 66!
A day of doubles...double delight!
And since December gets really hectic between shopping, birthdays, kids getting sick, preparing for the holidays and school winter concerts (concerts formerly known as Christmas shows); it would be a treat for a mom like me, if I can find ways to easily and reasonably cross one thing of my daily routine.
That’s when an idea clicked in! Instead of cooking all the meals for his pre-birthday dinner, why not order something new? So I did. And the end result was delicious!
