"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature." - Anne Frank
I still believe that I have the power to make a difference – and I believe that you do, too.
Do you have a project that you want to complete but do not seem to find the time to work on it?
Do you want to tackle that project you’ve been putting aside for awhile now?
Maybe all you need is a pen and paper to write down what your day’s schedule is like!
And once you dream it, you and you alone can make it happen!
And in the process, try to enjoy it.
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to complete what I have started.
(I can’t wait to share every step with you guys..)
From Monday thru Friday, I pledged to work on my project for 3 ½ hours and hope to complete it in 4 weeks.
It is actually a liberating thing to do once you treat a project as a job with a deadline.
All of a sudden, you’re working like Cinderella’s little elves.
However, in so doing, I have to give up some things I enjoy doing.
To compromise, I’ve scheduled to be here every Saturdays.
I hope you can join me every week for a cup of tea and a quick chat.
I miss you all and would love to hear from you soon!
Enjoy your week and do take time to go outside and enjoy the beauty of life!
See you back here on Satuday and let me know your first week in pursuing your dreams...
Hugs and Kisses!
Special shout-out to the my friends who trained for the Danskin Triathlon - Good-luck tomorrow! You ladies, rock!
Jen! I'm glad to hear it, really, I am. I've found myself in a similar situation, but have been struggling with giving up some of my 'responsibilities'. *sigh* But after reading your post (motivational!), I've pulled out my pen and notebook and am going to start my pro and con list, my 'bucket' list, my 'need to do' list, and get hacking away at all the distractions in my life! Thanks for the nudge I needed! :-)
ReplyDelete@Jennifer - I'm so happy that you took that first step. I promise, writing your "bucket" list is pretty liberating! Come back next week and let us know how it goes...Good-luck!
